'it's me, i'm sorry' is the latest project from Victoria Grills, featuring her single 'Self Destructing' and an indie-folk cover of her all time favorite song, Tracy Chapman's 'Fast Car.' This five song EP is deeply personal, reflecting on navigating life in your early twenties. Between friendship, dating, partying, and becoming a real adult in the real world, it seems everything is a struggle. Victoria uses her songwriting to work through such struggles in hopes that others can find comfort in her words and music.

'Self Destructing' reflects the struggle of navigating mental health in one's early twenties. At this stage of your life, you're still figuring out who you are. You're just now allowed to legally drink, and you find yourself testing your limits. You're living on your own for the first time, navigating life and friendships as a 'real' adult. You're looking for ways to cope with your hardships, which doesn't always lead you down a steady path. Anyone who's had that summertime sadness, struggled to cope with mental health, or anyone who's ever been young and in their 20s can find solace in the lyrics of 'Self Destructing.'

This song was produced by Soraya Rafat and was released on July 19, 2024. You can stream 'Self Destructing' now on your preferred streaming service.
